Sociology

The Department of Sociology started its journey with UG General course in the academic year 2008-2009.

Curriculum is based on the syllabi framed by The University of Gour Banga.

At present B.A. Major and Minor courses are offered by the department as Per National Education Policy(NEP)-2020. Academic session is from July to June and the academic calendar is guided by the affiliating university.
